Node Management

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides the capability to manage the nodes from a central interface. You can add nodes, delete nodes, and modify nodes.

Job Management

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides the capability to manage all the jobs from one interface. You can run multiple backup jobs simultaneously. You can run, modify, cancel, and delete jobs from the interface. You can create job groups by adding multiple nodes to one job. The job group reduces the number of backup jobs to manage. You can easily manage multiple job groups instead of managing an individual job for each node.

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides you the capability to manage your backup storage locations. You can add, modify, and delete backup storage locations. CA ARCserve D2D for Linux supports Common Internet File System (CIFS) and Network File System (NFS) backup storage locations. Apart from the CIFS and NFS, you can also store your backup data to the Local disk of your backup node.

Encryption/Decryption Support

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides the capability to encrypt and protect (with encryption passwords) your sensitive data and also decrypt the encrypted data after recovery.

The encryption uses Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) to protect your data.

INTEGRATION

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides you utilities to integrate with your existing IT environment.

Pre/Post Scripts

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux lets you run your script at specific stages of a running job. All pre/post scripts are centrally managed in the D2D Server.
